The bath culture first began to spread in the Hellenistic era, and later on, the Roman period and finally the Ottoman period and came to the present day. During the Roman period, hammams were not only used for cleaning but also as one of the important common areas where the society socialized. The baths operate in the logic of a floor heating system by placing the disc-shaped stones on top of each other in an order with the hypocaust system, raising the floor and passing hot flame smoke between these stones. It heats the hot room of the bath, called the tepidarium, on it. Hammam culture is still widely used in Anatolia and in every city of Turkey today. The bath culture is one of the oldest cultures that Anatolia brought to the present day. So much so that even some travelers who visited Anatolia wondered about this cleaning method of the Turks.
Nowadays, Turkish baths serve separately for men and women with the traditional method. A person greets you at the entrance of the bath, then gives you the key to the safe box where you can put your belongings, and then guides you to the entrance. When you enter, they first give you slippers and a cover called loincloth (a long cover to wrap your body), and then after you take off your clothes in the dressing room. You wrap your body with this loincloth. To moisturize your skin a little more, take a shower after the sauna and immediately after the dead skin on your skin will be cleaned by the professionals with the traditional (scrub) method. This process accelerates the self-renewal of your skin and gives you a brighter appearance. After this process, soapy foam is spread on you with a special treatment to clean your skin, and then our employees give you a traditional foam massage. After all these procedures, you can relax in the men's section (jacuzzi) and women's section (relaxation pool) to cool off from the hot environment of the Turkishbath (Hammam). All these processes take between 1-1.20 hours.
