While internal motor vehicles were not used until about 2 centuries ago, human beings used to carry cargo and migrate through animals. The most important of these animals is the camel. Because camels can walk for hours and stay without water for days. In order to help camels to travel long distances and not to starve, they collect the nutrients they previously consumed in a part of their body called hump, and when they are under harsh conditions, their body meets the energy it needs from the hump. When a camel reaches a water source, it can drink up to 80-90 liters of water. Although we do not need these friendly animals today, tours are made just to experience camel riding. The arid and rocky structure of Cappadocia resembles a desert, and when you travel with camels, you may have the opportunity to understand a little about how people made long desert journeys in the past centuries. Due to the unique skeleton and foot structure of camels, it moves forward by swinging to the right and left, which is fun. You will feel like you are sitting in a living rocking chair.
